Off to Vegas!

We’re leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow morning for the WPPI convention.  It is a MASSIVE gathering of wedding photographers from all over the world, where we meet to share ideas, view the latest products, and simply enjoy each other’s company.  I may be a little slower to respond to emails and phone calls while we’re away, but I will still attempt to check in at least once a day while we’re gone.  Otherwise, I will respond promptly on Thursday morning, when we will be back to business as usual.

Here is a Las Vegas photo of mine from a couple years back to set the mood. :)

 See you soon!

Montreal!

My wife and I just returned from a trip to Montreal.  It was our first time visiting Canada, and it was beautiful, if a bit cold.  I grew up in Arizona, and live in California, so I’m not too used to the white stuff.  I had a little time to take some photos around the city, and get some practice in with a new lens, the Canon 24 3.5 Tilt-Shift.  If you notice some interesting blurred areas in some of the shots, it is one of the unique characteristics of that particular lens.  It also helps to keep the verticals straight in some the church shots.  OK, enough photo-geek speak, on to the pics:
