Evelyn + Jun | Married!

We got to spend Saturday with Evelyn and Jun at their wedding at the Elizabeth Gamble Garden. It was a beautiful garden, a warm Summer day with lots in bloom:

We started out the day with Evelyn in a gorgeous traditional outfit for some portraits and a tea ceremony:

I think almost every guy learns how to tie their first tie as part of a wedding:

Some portraits in the wedding dress before the ceremony:

The details:

Seriously how cute are these kids?!?

A couple more portraits before our time together ended:

Thanks you so much for sharing your day with us! Congrats!!

Melissa + Jon | Married!

We spent our 4th of July shooting Melissa and Jon’s fantastic wedding at the Flood Mansion. We are actually friends with Melissa and Jon, and with many of the people in/at the wedding, so it was fun shooting with people you know around, although you have to fight the urge to start dancing even more than usual! :-)

They put together a beautiful wedding and had a total “Classic Hollywood” feel to the day. I really wanted the images to have that same sort of feel. I say Mission Accomplished! :-)

I was such a Happy Photographer when I saw the long gloves, birdcage veil, and bright red lipstick!

That bright red lipstick can be messy!

Luckily Jon came prepared! :-)

The Ladies:

The Gentlemen: OK you might be wondering why there is a lobster in with the headshots. No, I have not lost it, it is a stand in for one of the groomsmen who couldn’t be there the day of. Hi Josh! I think he had a better time than anyone when it came time to dance. He certainly was popular. :-)

I absolutely adore the portraits from this wedding. Some of my all time favs:

Yum!

Thanks Melissa and Jon for sharing your day with us, and Congrats!!!

May + Nader | Married!

This past Sunday we spent the day with May and Nader. They had a lovely, intimate wedding at the Shakespeare Gardens in Golden Gate Park. I had quite a bit of portrait time with the couple so we did some exploring in the area, and found some pretty memorable spots.

Nader and his sis:

We had a great time with you both, and we hope you’re enjoying Paris & Turkey! Have some Pierre Hermé for Malarie and I! :-)
