We spent our 4th of July shooting Melissa and Jon’s fantastic wedding at the Flood Mansion. We are actually friends with Melissa and Jon, and with many of the people in/at the wedding, so it was fun shooting with people you know around, although you have to fight the urge to start dancing even more than usual!
They put together a beautiful wedding and had a total “Classic Hollywood” feel to the day. I really wanted the images to have that same sort of feel. I say Mission Accomplished!
I was such a Happy Photographer when I saw the long gloves, birdcage veil, and bright red lipstick!
That bright red lipstick can be messy!
Luckily Jon came prepared!
The Gentlemen: OK you might be wondering why there is a lobster in with the headshots. No, I have not lost it, it is a stand in for one of the groomsmen who couldn’t be there the day of. Hi Josh! I think he had a better time than anyone when it came time to dance. He certainly was popular.
I absolutely adore the portraits from this wedding. Some of my all time favs:
Thanks Melissa and Jon for sharing your day with us, and Congrats!!!
