We just had another excellent engagement session. Lan + Bryan are in the starring roles this time around. We got to shoot in our new neighborhood which was awesome because I’ve been dying to! So many cool locations too little time. They are a very stylish couple which I always appreciate, and it was easy to get natural smiles out of them by letting them work off each other, and they could rock their best model pose with the best of them. They made my job easy!
Let’s jump right in!
Love the light in these next couple. Fun with big lights!
One of my favs of the day.
This one’s right up there too.
I think this might be the winner though! When I showed this one to Bryan, he said “that could be anyone in that picture!” Jokingly of course. Right? I’m going to sneak this one into all of my engagement sessions from now on. 🙂 This was inside our loft complex btw, pretty cool.
We finished things off at Ghiradelli Square. Bryan proposed to Lan there after a meal at Gary Danko (yum!). He said the weather was too cold for the romantic bay side proposal he envisioned back then, so we took advantage of the relatively warm evening for a taste of that setting now.
Lan + Bryan we had such fun with you both and can’t wait for your wedding this October, and we’ll see you at Minh and Derek’s wedding in July!
Manette - Congratulations Lan and Bryan. I am so happy for both of you. Great pictures too…
Lan Nguyen - awww, we love it!!! you and malarie both made us feel so comfortable. I guess all of my comments such as , “Damn you wind!” didn’t really matter, because you made it work! I absolutely love the ‘cherry blossom’ pictures. Can’t wait to see the rest! Thank you again!
Ian Mitchell - Outstanding set.
jenkloss - This is a particularly beautiful session, Cliff! Love the lighting.
Cliff - Thanks Manette, Lan, Ian, and Jen for the comments! Lan, the wind was definitely a challenge, and may have won a few battles, but we won the war. 🙂
