Many of you (like us) were left wanting more after seeing how these two landed a home run with their engagement shoot. I am pleased to report that they pulled off their wedding day with as much (if not more) style and swag! While we were shooting in downtown SF, it was hard to keep the crowds at a safe distance as they gawked at these two stars 😉
Melissa worked tirelessly on pulling off this wedding, rich with color and detail. It was our first time shooting at the City Club, and it was obvious why they chose this as the backdrop for their stylish reception.
I especially enjoyed the presence of Hakeem’s family from Nigeria; an assemblage of warm, smiling people dressed in vibrant shades of purple. The Nigerian money dance was captivating!
Just being in the company of Melissa and Hakeem made the day so fluid and fun for us. They have undying wit and generosity, and we are lucky to now call them our friends 🙂

Luke Snyder - Cliff, your ability to layer moments with composition is breathtaking. What a wonderful set. Love that first look. Love that booty smack. Can’t figure out that car window reflection of the church, and love it for that reason. Thanks for sharing.
Cliff - Thanks a lot Luke for taking the time to comment, that’s a very nice compliment.
Denis Cherim - Wow. Very cinematic. Love the frames 🙂
