Tiffany + Sean | Married!

We had the opportunity to shoot Tiffany and Sean’s awesome wedding a few weeks back, and it’s time to share some images! They were married at Trinity Episcopal Church, and their reception was at the Clift Hotel. If they look familiar, it’s because we had a great Engagement Session a couple months back.

A really cool image of the minister lighting the candles before the ceremony:

Tiffany! I love these red doors. Every time I would drive by this church, I secretly wished I’d get a wedding there, so I could play with these awesome doors.

Amazing florals by Nancy Liu Chin (I’m linking to her info on Here Comes the Guide, as it appears her website is having some issues.) I don’t know if I’ve seen a florist more enthusiastic about what they do as her and her team!

I aboslutely loved these “flower balls” they had for the bridesmaids. They had a better name for them, but I’m no flower expert. I just know what I like. :-)

This kid was adorable! Cool little shot during the ceremony. I wonder what he’s thinking.

Married!

I liked this shot playing with the mirrors on the cable car on the way to the Clift.

No pressure! I only had one frame to get this shot right, as we weren’t really allowed to shoot in the lobby. I’m thrilled it was a good one!

Checking out the bling!

Isn’t this room amazing?

I was digging this ring shot!

We snuck out to take a couple shots in this great staircase:

First Dance:

This woman, who I believe is Tiffany’s Grandmother, (Correct me if I’m wrong!) was an absolute hoot on the dancefloor. I think she danced with every person out there, and was very popular with the fellas. :-)

Victorious after a hard fought bouquet toss!

The Clift at the end of the night:

Congrats to Sean and Tiffany, thanks for sharing your day with us!

Going to Boston!

We’re headed to Boston for a few days starting tomorrow the 9th, and returning the 13th. We’re visiting friends and recharging the batteries a bit. I’ll still be checking email once a day as long as the connection at the hotel is solid. I should have some more personal work to share in the weeks following the trip! It’ll be our first time there, if you know any must visit spots please share!

Chelsea + Stephen | Married!

We headed up to Healdsburg, CA a couple weeks back for Chelsea and Stephen’s wedding. Their wedding holds the record now for both the fastest ceremony I’ve ever seen, and for some of the most fun dancing shots I’ve taken.

I was digging what the light was doing here during this moment with her Dad before the ceremony:

This kid was cracking me up. He challenged me at the start of the reception that I wouldn’t be able to get a picture of him. I showed him this one later on, and the rest of the night he would buzz by me yelling “you’re EVVVVVIIIILLLL!” :)

A nice moment during the speeches:

Chelsea’s sister giving her speech:

First Dance:

They cut the tiniest little piece of cake!

Fun on the dance floor with Chelsea’s Mom:

They had a big dancing circle going, and I jumped right into the middle with them. This is one of many fun shots from that series:

Gimme a “Y”!

Thriller! Thriller Night!

Thanks for sharing your day with us! Congrats!

Leslie + Gary | Married!

Recently I got to spend the day with Leslie and Gary on their wedding day. They came from Arizona, and San Diego respectively to get married here in SF. They decided to elope, and brought along Leslie’s daughter and father to join in on the fun. We started off the day at Hotel Nikko, they were married at SF City Hall, and we did an “Engagement Session” in Golden Gate Park just before sunset.

A little portrait at the Nikko:

In a cab on the way to City Hall:

One of the colorful characters at City Hall. I loved the clock too:

I think they were being sworn in:

City Hall here in SF is a gorgeous place to get married, a truly beautiful building:

We took advantage of the amazing surroundings for some portraits:

We then parted ways for a few hours and met back up for an “Engagement Shoot” at Golden Gate Park:

Leslie’s daughter made a friend at the park, and was climbing trees. You should have seen what happened to her friend when she lost grip on the branch!

Cute!

They’re naturals in front of the camera, and we got a ton of great shots that evening:

We had a great time with you all! Congrats Leslie and Gary!

Erin + Kevin | Married!

Here are some images from Erin and Kevin’s recent wedding at the Ruby Hill Golf Club in Pleasanton, CA. Great day for a wedding!

Amazing tree and light after the ceremony:

We totally DID NOT take any pictures on the bridge on the golf course. Nope, because that would be against the rules. :)

First Dance:

OK this requires some explaination. Everyone was joking around with Kevin’s brother Eric, and calling him “Teen Wolf” throughout the day. There just happened to be a full moon that night, and you could see it through a window from inside the reception. Howling ensued. :)

Then the transformation. Good Times.

Kevin surprised Erin with a vintage Rolls for their getaway vehicle. Awesome!

Thanks Erin and Kevin! Congrats from Malarie and I!
