Typically with the arrival of Winter there is a bit of an “off season” where you get a chance to catch up after the Fall wedding season. That time is often spent on blog posts, reworking the website, new samples, etc. Between my shooting schedule, trips, workshops/conferences, client work, and album designs there really was...  The fourth quarter WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association) contest results are in, and I’m extremely pleased that I had a few images place including one first place image! The WPJA contest is the premier contest for wedding photographers shooting in a documentary style and has a strong international membership. It’s always hugely humbling to be included...  It’s always such a treat to have your work recognized, especially so when the contest is as strong and diverse as the latest ISPWP (International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers) contest. There is wonderful imagery from all over the world, and I’m so pleased to have placed with 6 images this round. The winners are...  Renita and Glenn were married back in October at the now snow covered Heavenly Lake Tahoe Ski Resort. Besides the stunning natural landscape, it was a prefect match as they are avid snowboarders.
