Category Archives: News The fourth quarter WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association) contest results are in, and I’m extremely pleased that I had a few images place including one first place image! The WPJA contest is the premier contest for wedding photographers shooting in a documentary style and has a strong international membership. It’s always hugely humbling to be included...  It’s always such a treat to have your work recognized, especially so when the contest is as strong and diverse as the latest ISPWP (International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers) contest. There is wonderful imagery from all over the world, and I’m so pleased to have placed with 6 images this round. The winners are...  I spent some time recently as a student at the Foundation Workshop in Austin. Foundation is essentially a mind blowing group of talented photographers who are brought together to teach students to be a more effective photojournalist, storyteller, and photographer. As always it’s a time to look back to celebrate accomplishments, acknowledge “learning experiences”, and to set the tone for the upcoming year. In that spirit I spent some time going over every wedding and engagement session I shot in 2010 to put together...  Neha and Raj’s wedding at Chateau Julien was our very first Indian wedding, it was also one of our all time favorites, and now it’s been featured at the South Asian Bride blog!
