Erin + Kevin | Married!

Here are some images from Erin and Kevin’s recent wedding at the Ruby Hill Golf Club in Pleasanton, CA. Great day for a wedding!

Erin!

The Ladies:

Guys getting ready:

Kevin!

Dad looking to be deep in thought before taking his daughter down the aisle:

Kevin spotting his soon to be wifey for the first time:

Amazing tree and light after the ceremony:

We totally DID NOT take any pictures on the bridge on the golf course. Nope, because that would be against the rules. :)

First Dance:

OK this requires some explaination. Everyone was joking around with Kevin’s brother Eric, and calling him “Teen Wolf” throughout the day. There just happened to be a full moon that night, and you could see it through a window from inside the reception. Howling ensued. :)

Then the transformation. Good Times.

Kevin surprised Erin with a vintage Rolls for their getaway vehicle. Awesome!

Thanks Erin and Kevin! Congrats from Malarie and I!

Annika + David | Married!

Annika and David had a really cool wedding just a couple weeks ago at the De Young Museum here in San Francisco. They were a laid back and fun loving bunch, and De Young is an amazing venue!

We’ll start off with a little getting ready. I thought it was cool that they got ready together, it eschews tradition a bit, but felt really intimate.

On to the Museum! Dad walking Annika down the aisle:

David waiting happily at the other end:

Their ceremony was officiated by a close friend of theirs which I always love, but this time was especially cool because this guy has the coolest voice on the planet. He should be doing movie trailers:

There’s not too many buildings that get more dramatic than this:

Can you guess what David’s last name is? I had this shot in my head ever since I first sat down with them months ago:

I’m sure I totally messed up this picture, but I couldn’t resist!

My name is _________ and I like to party:

That poor cupcake. It never had a chance.

Thanks for sharing this awesome day with us! Congrats you two!

Maureen + Joe | Married!

Maureen and Joe got married a few weeks back at Fuschia Dell in Golden Gate Park. We started the day at the Palace Hotel for Maureen’s preparation:

We did some portraits in the area of the Conservatory of Flowers at the park, and worked our way over to the Fuschia Dell for their ceremony. It was one of the nicest days of the year here in SF, so it was a challenge to not have other people in the background!

They had a really personal and touching ceremony, with Maureen’s brother doing the officiating, and their bridal party doing some inspiring readings.

This was a really unique cake, and it smelled just as good as it looks! It was hard to not be distracted while shooting it. :) Something about the white chocolate and the strawberries.

The reception was at Limn, a really cool modern space in SOMA here in SF.

Admiring the bling:

This kid was rocking this move on the dance floor, and the DJ decided to join in:

First Dance:

Party Time!

We had a blast working with you, thanks for havings us! Congrats!

Monica + Parke | Married!

Monica and Parke flew in from Vegas to have their wedding here at the Wente Vineyards in Livermore. It was a beautiful day, and we always love a good vineyard!

Parke!

Monica!

Some great moments during the ceremony:

Some awesome portraits! This group shot is one of my favorite group shots ever!

They had a Mariachi band during the cocktail hour, they were particularly fun to photograph:

First dance:

Yikes. Watch those pins!

Thanks for sharing your day with us! Congrats!

Kim + Dave | Married!

We recently shot Kim and Dave’s wedding in San Ramon. It was a really light, fun atmosphere all day long. Kim and Dave were super laid back all day long, and just enjoyed their day as it unfolded. The evening ended up being a huge party with tons of action on the dance floor! On to the pics!

This is how the guys spend “Getting Ready” time. :)

Kim!

Dave!

The portraits!

I especially dig these next two:

If I were to caption this (which I am), it would say “I promised myself I wouldn’t cry!” :)

My major vice is a huge sweet tooth. Sour Patch Kids are one of my very favorite guilty pleasures. I tried to resist, but I’m coming clean right here. I ate some SPK’s. :)

These next two pictures cracked me up. I noticed Kim in this picture where her hands are raised up in the air while having fun on the dance floor….

Then just a few images later her Mom rockin’ the exact same move. The apple didn’t fall far. :)

Sparkler exit with a little too much enthusiasm! Everyone had one sparkler exept for the guy responsible for the fireball on the left, he had ALL of the leftover sparklers, and lit them at once! You can see one guest ducking for cover. I could feel the heat on my left as he lit it and did my best to get the shot AND not catch on fire while walking backwards. Good Times. :)

Thanks for a fun day! Congrats Kim and Dave!
