We recently photographed Chris and Emily’s wedding at a quite amazing private residence in Atherton. It was an outstanding outdoor space, and the gardens were a pretty magical place to spend time. Emily and Chris likely look familiar if you regularly follow the blog, as we did a great Engagement Session with them a couple of months back.
We’ll start with the uber elegant dress from amsale, and those sweet Louboutins!
The excellent Wallett did the hair and makeup for the day.
I really like this one, 4x the Emily, 4x the fun! The hardest part is not ending up in the shot yourself when there’s that many mirrors around.
I think this little guy thought Emily looked pretty cute.
It was a beautiful ceremony!
Married! I really like the tongue making an appearance here, and Chris couldn’t possibly look any happier.
I love the feel of this one as they passed me by.
Chris had his first husbandly (Is that a word?) duty as they enjoyed a little champagne before we shot some portraits. Those Louboutins look fantastic, but aren’t super comfy.
We had a little bit of time to shoot some portraits around the garden. Nice yard eh?
Here’s a super sized layout for all the details of the day. Loved all the apples! Cherries Flowers did the florals, and that sweet custom guest book was by me. 🙂
Chris putting down some moves during the first dance.
They had rave reviews!
Funny and heartfelt moments during the toasts.
Loved this little detail of a guest’s arms around her man.
C’mon how can you resist this? You can’t, don’t try. 🙂
Emily’s parents on the floor. Emily’s Mom was a total hoot, and was out there all night.
An overall of the reception. I’m digging the Moon.
Thanks so much Emily, Chris, and family for sharing this day with us!
